Gaseous and terrestial planets
Gaseous and Terrestrial PlanetsTerrestrial planets are one of the four inner planets of the solar system <Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars are the terrestrial planets. Gaseous planets are one of the four planets in our solar system that are composed of hydrogen and helium, which are Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune.

Difference of gaseous and terrestrial planets |
Even though both the terrestrial and the gaseous planets orbit the sun, there are many differences between the two groups. One general difference is that the gaseous planets have more than 12 moons whereas the terrestrial planets all have less than 3 moons.None of the terrestrial planets have rings but all the gas giants have rings. When talking of the distance from the sun, the terrestrial planets are closer to the sun and the gaseous planets are farther. While the atmosphere of terrestrial planets is composed mainly of carbon dioxide and nitrogen gases, hydrogen and helium gases are found in abundance in the atmosphere of gaseous planets. What I am saying is that terrestrial planets have a hard surface so you can walk on them but gaseous planets are made up of materials such as gas and helium so it is impossible to walk on.
